Hello to all again:

Riveting discussion going on about insurance/pharmas/drug

industry/politics/business etc.... I guess my hopes of becoming less

cynical are dwindling ... .

To recap the most current labs (I posted them on 11/19/02 but the

doc's office had not sent me the TSI part of the test. The one the

doctor had to look up the code for? That one... I now have

it...Elaine had wondered if I was heading towards remission ... I

don't know as they never did the baseline test before the ATDs were

started on August 21, 2002.

Yes...I went hypo...The doctor suggested I stop taking the MMU for 3

days (I did not) and take 5mg every other day..(I did not do that

either...was taking 2.5mg once a day)..Although...I still feel tired

so as of last week...I started taking 2.5mg every other day.

The TSI part of the report was faxed to my office today because ....

well because I let them slide over the Thanksgiving Holiday but I

anxious to see the results already. And they are

TSI 249 <125

Since I don't know what they were before ... I can only assume

they're better? They did run the Thyroid peroxidase before any ATDs

were taken and that was on 8/14/02:

TP 66 <2

I am supposed to see the Endo again on the 17 Dec....

Does that TSI sound very high? And when do you suggest I have it run

again? Obviously ... it was foreign to the doctor who had to look up

the code for it but at least he humored me and asked for it.
