Guest guest
Welcome to the group, but sorry that you need us. I know Forks very well, I was born and raised in Aberdeen, but now I live in Arizona, small world huh? I probably know most of the older loggers from Forks. What did your husband do for a living? G. Guest guest
Hi , I just found your message while scrolling.......sorry it took so long. It is a small world indeed! Arizona is sure a far cry from the weather we get here as you well know! How do you like the different climate? My husband both logged and worked in shingle mills. My dad had a huge logging company in the early 70's called D & J Log...my husband was a hook tender and shovel engineer and yarder engineer...well he did everything there. Then he went to work for Ulin Log first as a truck driver than as a shovel engineer. He spent about 20 years in the logging industry and worked for alot of the gypo outfits. Can you remember the names of any loggers you knew? Thanks for saying hi and hope you see this reply Theresa >> Welcome to the group, but sorry that you need us.
