ALA Question

Hi everyone,

I am starting my ALA (well I have about 20 minutes ago) and I am taking

6 mg with 12.5 DMSA. However when my hubby picked up the ALA from the

compound pharamasist the it had a keep refrigerated sticker on it. I

have never heard anyone mention it. (I do have a three month supply-

cause it was cheaper)

Also both my DMSA and ALA are slow release. Is this an issue. I have

done 8 rounds of DMSA and done okay on it. It was and still is slow

release.

Your thoughts?

It doesn't say R-ALA on the bottle or in my conversations with the

pharmasist.

Thanks for your response it got me thinking.

I did phone the pharmacist who compounded my ALA and DMSA - separate

caps. The product was ALA and DMSA but how it was packed was what

made it slow release.

He says he can pack it next time with no fillers so it won't be slow

release.

When I asked Andy - he said to use what I have but don't let the

pharmacist do it again :)
