Hi Kathy,

You're correct. We all have optimal thyroid hormone levels. You definitely do

not want to become hypo while on ATDs as this will increase your chances of

eye problems.

With a higher FT4 and a suppressed TSH your gland is actually quieted down.

This helps in reducing antibody production. Take care, Elaine
