Guest guest
> How often do they review cases? I believe they review every 3 years. I'm not sure, but I think SS reviews every 5 year? It will be a little while before I have to go through this again! Unless, I am miraculously cured.....or meet Mr. Wonderful and won't have to worry about counting pennies any more! I wonder which is more of an impossibility? :-D) It feels good to have good news for a change. Koala-t hugs, Cathy

Unless, I am miraculously cured.....or meet Mr. Wonderful and won't have to worry about counting pennies any more!<< Cathy, a cure would be a miracle! I'll keep praying! My husband is wonderful, but we are counting our pennies. We are lucky though. I don't need to work, but it's it's tight. My husband just started a computer business. I am hoping that business will pick up soon. Well, after he gets a post office box & phone #. I will most likely be doing that. Luck me. Well, I am very glad things worked out for you. Now you can concentrate on finding Mr. Wonderful so you don't have to count pennies. hehehe ~ ---------------------------------

Guest guest
, This is wonderful news! It is a huge relief when you finally find someone who says, yes, I believe you, and we are going to do something about it. I'm so happy for you! It seems the bringing in of information from the internet has helped quite a few people to get their doctors to take them seriously. Lol. My doctor sends me to the internet to check out different arthritis and muscular syndromes. He's being very thorough before he settles on Fibro, and that's fine by me. Just hearing how well things went for you has given me a good uplift to my own spirits, which should help me get through my day a bit easier. Thanks for sharing, and wish me luck! I have an interview today. The sooner I get away from my coworker, the better off I'll be! Take care,

Guest guest
~ I'm so happy that you found a caring doctor and one who is willing to admit when he is not experienced in some areas. Cleveland Clinic is a wonderful clinic. I went with my aunt when she was trying to find out what she had and after she traveled from Lima, Ohio to Mayo Clinic and another clinic in Texas she went to Cleveland and was diagnosed with fibro. Some doctors up there are kind of know it all's but for the most part all are in tune to their patients. My aunt recently took my 8 year old cousin there because she was having problems passing out and the doc said it was nothing. Well, Childrens Hospital in Toledo diagnosed her also with neurocardiogenic syncope. My aunt & I share fibro/cfs and my 8 year old cousin and & share the syncope. So, I am thinking both are genetic, but who's to say. I'm not a researcher or a genetic specialist. I'm just guessing on a hunch. Well, best of luck when you head to Cleveland! ~ ---------------------------------

Guest guest
> My long term disablity kicked in. > Walt > Tacoma, WA Hi Walt, Well, you just HAD to make us wait for that good news, didn't you? And that is glowingly GREAT news that your disability has started, I know it's been a long struggle to get there. Give yourself some time to adjust to the meds, hopefully they will get rid of your bad news fast. I hope you get to feeling better soon so you can enjoy knowing that your disability is no longer a worry. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
