Guest guest
Margo. ALA is about the cheapest thing out there. Give up your morning coffee, and you've paid for a month's worth. Be aware that if you start to detox, and then stop during the " down phase " (which starts about 3 months in and can last anywhere from a half a year to a year), then you can begin to feel really sick. Guest guest
Margo, If it helps..dmsa is $28.95 for 120 caps. ALA usually cost me no more than $3.00 a bottle. This amount last me a few months and we chelate 3 people. Often times ordering it yourself is actually cheaper than using your insurance, because the copays are more than ordering. and yes, when you hit month three..she's right, it gets pretty bad without any chelation. We do rounds twice a month which is pretty affordable. Actually, we spend more on the vitamins/minerals and such than we do the chelators. I know it's daunting.... > > I was wondering, still following the dosage set by Andy would it still > be beneficial to do some rounds just when one can afford to buy the > tablets. > > Thanks Margo >
Guest guest
Dave & others, Do you remember what page or chapter that info (3mth rule) is on? I thought I took notes on everything--but my memory proves me wrong... Guest guest
Study the graph on page 52 of Amalgam Illness. Dave referred to it as the down phase, we often call it *the hump* as in the graph, it has been referred to as the rollercoaster ride, etc. Andy explains that this is the natural progression of mercury detox, that you will naturally feel worse for awhile, and he has also called this the *stall period*, and then you will slowly start improving again. There have been many posts about this in the past, and I'm sure you'll find some in the ANDY INDEX, and possibly at onibasu/wiki, or by searching archives. I know Andy has commented on this many times. Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation cr8zytasia wrote: Dave & others, Do you remember what page or chapter that info (3mth rule) is on? Guest guest
Thank you. I am in NZ and by the time you do the exchange rate it is quite expensive. Iat least have a plan now so that is something. Guest guest
I'll do that. I have just given the book to someone else to read so will get back into it when it comes back. Guest guest
Margo, some people chelate for 3 days on and 11 days off, so this might be an option for you to help stretch things out, but still chelate on a regular basis. And I agree with Jada, all the other supplements cost more than the chelators. But Andy's top four or bare minimum supplements are Vit C, E, zinc, and magnesium. So start with those, and then add others, if you can.----------Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation free2ridejones wrote: Thank you. Guest guest
You have to wait at least 3 months after amalgam removal to use ALA, but then, yes it is an option to use it alone. Some people do just fine, or even better, on ALA alone, and others do not. You just won't know until you try it.-------Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation free2ridejones wrote: That might work out well if dmsa or dmps gets too expensive. I could do a few rounds on them and go solo on the ALA. Would that work? Thanks Margo > > Margo. ALA is about the cheapest thing out there.
