Guest guest
I gave DH's old boss a right ticking off after he phoned DH at home when he was off sick and kept him talking through something technical on the phone for 45 minutes. DH had flu at the time, real flu not just a manly cold and really wasn't up to it. When his boss phoned again an hour later I told him in no uncertain terms that I was not letting him speak to DH who was now asleep and that if he phoned again I was going to be contacting the MD & the Union. That firm was a joke as they paid peanuts and then expected people to be phoned during holidays - they even phoned DH on the morning of his granny's funeral and even he blew his stack at that! They even used to phone him after he left until he asked them what rate they were paying him for his advice.
