Welcome to the board! I'm sorry you had reason to look for a group like this but since you did I'm awfully glad you found us. Please tell us a little bit about yourself so we can get acquainted. We are various ages, locations and diagnosis here but in many ways have become family.

I've never used Outlook Express so I can't help you there hopefully someone else will be able to advise you.

Once again welcome, I hope you find the support and friendship here that I have!

Hi Jodee,

If you go to the yahoo group breathe

support webpage and click on the “my account” link (next to the “sign

out”) it will allow you to edit your email information. You will need to

set your cable email as an alternate email and then make it the primary and the

emails should be delivered to your cable address.

Hi Jodee, indeed this is a wonderful group. I joined recently and was hooked immediately. I usually check in here first thing everyday to see what the topics are and tthen again in the evening. Sometimes I join in sometimes I just read, but either way I am learning alot and love the support that everyone gives to eachother.

I am not able to help with the email situation but wanted to use this posting as my introduction to you. I was diagnosed with PF (DIP) in jan 2008 after a hospital stay for pulmonary embolism. I was sent to a pulmonary specialist and then to the U of W and told I need a double lung transplant. I am currrently on oxygen 24/7 and also have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and use a c-pap machine at night.

I am 51 as of april 26th and live inn washingtonn state on the olympic peninsula. If you are familiar with Stephani Myers Twilight book series and the two movies you will know I live in Forks, home of Bella and ....

Would love to hear your story....glad you found us!!

Sorry can't help with the email because I am as clueless as you. I am also sorry that you had the need to find us but you could not be in a better place. Even though I have only been in the group for a short time they have helped me tremendously. These folks care, I mean really care and someone always has a great answer to my questions. Since I joined I have gained control and POWER over my own health concerns with doctors. I needed validation, I think, that I really had a right to question them. If there were words to express my emotions for Sher, Beverly, Beth, Jack and all the rest I would but tears are making the screen hard to see so I'll just stop.

Jodee Help 101

Come to the web site and click on " my groups " in the upper right hand

corner. Then you simply edit the email address shown on the group. If

you have any problem feel free to email me. You can have a different

email then for different groups even.

Go to the web page for breathe-support. Then at the top there is "Edit Membership" click there and go to #1...

Your email address should be there with the Yahoo one. Click on your email.

Step 2...click on Individual Mail.

Don't forget to click 'Save Changes'.....
