Thanks Joe...that gives me more confidence about pursuing this. I can imagine it will be very useful in the years to come. Thanks!

I do not feel that is a problrm MB as they are made for that. They only need a 750 watt but my provider suggested a 1000 watt so I got a 1200 watt to be sure. I only have a 6 cylinder in my Ranger and you don't even know when it is on or off. They run off the battery and your alternator just replaces the juice when running. I have even run it when the truck is off and it works fine. Don't know how long the battery would last but I may hook up to a battery someday just to see.

I am interested in getting a portable concentrator because it would free me up to travel. I often take trips that require an overnight stay and my Helios does not last more than one day. Does anyone have recommendations?

Thank you.

The issues sometimes are not just the cars alternator but, also, the

battery that comes in a given car. I do know from experience, the

Elantra battery isn't exactly a powerhouse (now I loved my Elantra).

Beth, the inverters themselves generally have the system

requirements indicated. You can also check with a Hyundai dealer. You

may need a deep cycle battery depending on usage.
