Wanted to let you all know.. here's what webmd says about TIA's or

mini strokes.

TIAs are often called mini strokes because the

symptoms are like those of a stroke. Within minutes,

brain cells are affected, causing symptoms in the

parts of the body controlled by those cells. TIAs may

affect vision, speech, behavior, and thought processes

and may cause loss of consciousness, seizure,

dizziness (vertigo),and weakness or numbness on one

side of the body. However, unlike a stroke, a TIA does not

cause lasting symptoms. Symptoms usually go away

after 10 to 20 minutes, but they may last up to 24

hours.

Anyhow, I wanted to let you all know that while this proabably isn't

the case with me, it's something we all should be aware of! With our

heart rates, and our stress, and you name it. It must not be very

common or we would have heard more about it, but still something to

keep in mind.

I will let you all know if I find anything more out about it, anything

interesting or applicable to these TIA's and GD after I call my doc

today.
