Must say that I am not too keen on driving over large bridges. I always think I will drive over the edge. The Humber Bridge is my main problem. I am the person driving quite slowly saying to the children " look at the nice boats in the water " then I get to the middle, change lanes to the lane in the middle of the bridge (as far from the water as I can get!) and then put my foot down and drive over the rest like a lunatic. I am sure one day the police will stop me, and ask what on earth am I on! My driving instructor once told me that the car goes where you look. So if I look over the side then I am convinced that the car WILL go over the side. I did hear of somebody who used to get in the car boot so they did not have to look as they went over the Humber Bridge.
