My name is Theresa and I wanted to introduce myself to the group. I am 50 years

old (soon to be 51) and was diagnosed with DIP in january of 2008. I am told I

need a double lung transplant but to be listed I had to lose close to 90

pounds....i am happy to say that i have lost 65 as of now and quit smoking in

the process. I visit my pulmonary doctor this month and will find out what she

thinks about my progress. My transplant will be performed at the University of

Wa. and i have met with the surgeon once.

I am on oxygen 24/7 at 4 litre's. and take about 7 or 8 meds along with

nebulizers and inhalers. I have sleeep apnea, depreession, anxiety and lack of

energy in general. I used to work as a mental health case manager for an

outreach agency but had to retire because of my disability. I miss the activity

and people.

Hoping to get some replies to this and do more posting as time goes by. One

question I have is how do I see pictures or attachments that others send in

their messages?
