Since my son died, I know people do die and no ones immune or really safe. I'm watching CNN all day and just getting sicker with disbelief, it's like all this bad stuff is happening and everything going downhill, I shouldnt watch but cant stop and it's so terrible. So many bad things happen in the world, where is the good stuff? It's so very upsetting to know what is happening, so many people dead and maybe more dying. Life is so valuable, and so fragile. I would never live in New Orleans again if I had lived there and they one day rebuild, could you sleep at night, knowing if the levees break, this would happen?? I don't think so. ~~Dianna Dianna...you need to distance yourself from the news reports a little. I know I did. Prior to the storm even hitting, I cried for 2 days, loving that city sooo much and all the good times/trips Glenn and I have had there. Of course, that was prior to the surgery and I seemed to be crying about everything anyway!! LOL There is sooo much damage and destruction and loss of lives...it is very sad!!! I know they can rebuild, but I hate that they are still losing lives!! I can't watch it too much or I get sick to my stomach...cry when they interview people that can't find their families...and it has to be labeled as adding to any depression I already have!!! If I turn the TV on tho, I always go to see an update. Speaking of depression....I just filled my gas tank, hearing on the news that prices were going to go up 30-40 cents overnite...maybe this will create more car pools and less traffic for us...lets be optimistic here....LOL Well, , looks like there's a possibility we WILL get up to Gettysburg in our RV and get to meet you and . Glenn has survived for a reason....and I'm hoping it's to make amends with his Mom, brother and sister. (and to get in a few more trips in the RV...LOL) Hope all is well with you!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
