Somebody mentioned taking ginger with their nighttime doses of ALA to help with this, or you could try alkalizing things like Alka-Seltzer Gold, baking soda, (I think minerals in general), or alkalizing foods, which somebody mentioned in a recent post and I think gave a link.--------Jackie Sunshine: Yes it was me, I gave the link. LOL. Ummm.I have had serious problems with heartburn and I am now 95pct cured of it. It was the bane of my life, I had it 24/7 for years and years. So it's real frustrating when it rears its ugly head again. Diet and apple cider vinegar sorts it out for me. Have a decent diet 24/7 and if heartburn comes along, 2-3 tbls ACV and its gone..it still hurts me and worries me though. ---------I don't remember if you're taking any digestive aids, but if ACV helps you with heartburn, then that may be a sign that you need more stomach acid (Betaine HCl). But if the ACV works, then that might be all you need, because it stimulates the production of stomach acid.--------Jackie I always get dehydration with serious heartburn too and I'm on the watercure!
