Andy ----------------------- Andy, If gold crowns had been in a mouth for many years along with other amalgam fillings, does the gold absorb or get contaminated with mercury? And in this case, if all amalgam was out but these old gold caps are still in the mouth, is it still safe to chelate with them still in? My sister is in this position, and I'm not quite sure what to tell her. And the gold caps are on baby teeth that would probably not survive a revision, so she's not in a hurry to replace them.
