Have you tried antihistamines.

I used to get dry itchy skin on my legs before I started thyroid meds.

That symptom is fairly mild compared to what you are describing.

I use a combination of Synthroid (T4) and sustained release T3. Most

people use Armour (I had some problems with availability where I live).

-------------Yes, just may have been too much. The skin is one of our largest

detox organs, and I think when the liver can't keep up with what we're doing,

then maybe that's when we see more skin stuff. Just my uneducated deduction :)

So lowering the dose might help, probably worth a try.----------Jackie

I just sense that I am hypothyroid.

----------You could be, I can't remember, have you had any testing done or

taken your temperatures? I didn't comment much on the symptoms being caused by

hypothyroid, because I'm not on any thyroid meds myself. Long story, have the

antibodies (Hashi's), tried Armour once before adrenal support, crashed, and

never tried it again. I think adrenals was my *much* bigger issue, and the last

time I had my thyroid checked, my antibodies were down, so something I'm doing

is working. My thyroid probably isn't at optimal levels, but I have had other

issues to deal with. So anyway, I'm not the thyroid meds expert.---------Jackie

I think you may need to lower the doses. The symptoms that you are

describing sound allergy related and could get more serious.

------------I agree with , try lowering the dose. You want symptoms to

be manageable, and doubling the dose doesn't double the excretion.-----Jackie

------------I'm not laughing either! My first thought was, oh, that's good

for your lymph system. I was told to bounce on a minitramp

also.-----------Jackie

I'm not laughing! My thoughts are that mercury is a heavy metal and

gravity has pulled a bunch down into my legs - giving me all the leg

pain that I am having.....

-----------Then I must be a bat, I feel like the metals are in my arms :)

-------Jackie

Bouncing is great to get the lymph moving too.
