, I saw my pulmonary doc today and he said I would be able to breath better if I lost weight...again. I had lost 2lb since last month. My depression is so bad in the winters up here in Alaska with all of the darkness. I usually start feeling better with the day light saving time change, then pretty good by mid April. The summer light is great, just hope we don't have so much rain and cooler than usual temperatures this summer. Good for you getting your nose pierced! My 'living' includes letting my hair grow, it's almost to my waist now. I want to trim my bangs and ends for my Easter dress up. I plan on making a nice spring dress. I have an echo cardiogram and a few other tests this week so I will be out shopping also.

, I'm with you on the weight thing. It's the one thing I can't seem to kick.

>> Hello to everyone, > > I've been on the board everyday and have responded to some posts but have mostly stayed to myself. > > I visited my Internal Med. Dr. Monday. She increased my antidepressant because of the anxiety and emotion I've had later in the days for about a month now. She also ordered an MRI on my left hip because of the pain I've been having there. An echocardiagram has been ordered to check for PH (heart rate hasn't gotten low enough yet.) And she suggested persuing Lapband surgery for my weight. I've been strugling with my weight all my life and have been getting no where fast lately. If I were to be eligible for the Lapband it would help me to reach the weight goals I'm required to meet before being evaluated for transplant. > > After my appointment I came home, logged in to the board and

saw the bad news about Sherry.I didn't know her well but the news just broke my heart for her family. I can only imagine what they are feeling. Personally I've been uneasy about the idea of transplant since the first time it was mentioned to me by my pulmonologist. I only started considering it when some of my family asked me to.I have big decisions to make over the next few weeks. I'm feeling very overwhelmed and scared.> > On a more positive note: I have made sure I am LIVING life.I got my nose pierced a few weeks ago. It's something I've always liked on other people but didn't do myself because of work or worry of someone elses opinion. Well now I'm not working and there's no one to tell me I can't. So I did it and I love it! I've also decided to start sewing and will begin a baby quilt for a friend tomorrow. > > 33 FL> IPF dx 1/06>
