Guest guest
www.drrind.com Click on the metabolic part and there is a chart that lists adrenal and thyroid symptoms or mixed. Cheri adrenal versus thyroid I have a history of chronic constipation, intolenerence to cold, racing heart, 1/3 eye brows. Kind of a mixed bag of symptoms. Wondering if anyone knows of a good web site that is accurate with dx thyroid versus adrenal issues? Thanks Deb .

Testing free T3 and free T4 will give the most information. --

Guest guest
http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info/faq/ I dont know but in my opinion they kind of go hand in hand. Addrenals need help before the thyroid, careful you dont treat the thyroid first. Also yahoo has a group called thyroid, addrenals , youll see that the general agreement. Good Luck. > > > > I have a history of chronic constipation, intolenerence to cold, > racing heart, 1/3 eye brows. It tends to be one-size-fits-all advice, with nearly everyone needing 3-5 grains to optimize. Although well-meaning people, I don't think it's the place to go to understand the complexities of the endocrine system. In my case, gut infections and hidden food intolerances were straining my adrenals and depressing my free T3 and free T4. It turned out the solution was not HC or Isocort, and not Armour, but to get the gut back in balance, address the food intolerances, and take some supplements to feed the thyroid pipeline. I'm feeling MUCH better.
Guest guest
Agree with both of you. Correcting endocrine problems can be extremely complex and anyone who advocates a one-size-fits-all approach should be approached with caution. Many of us have intractable endocrine problems that can only be fixed by getting rid of the underlying problem - mercury, infections etc. For those of us in that category taking hormones just makes us feel worse. . > " " wrote: > > > > A note of caution. Guest guest
I agree with this. I felt terrible on 3 grains of Armour, and had to drop back. It did not work for me, and I cannot imagine being on 5 grains Armour. It is a good place to go and learn, and then find out for yourself what works for you. I also have a bad gut infection, which complicates thyroid / adrenal dosing and other hormone stuff.
