Guest guest
If you can get hold of the 100mg capsules from Heyl then compounding your own dosages is *dead easy*. All it takes is a set of $20 electronic scales (ebay), a capsule filler (e.g. " cap em quick " ) and some basic math. Absolutely no fiddling around whatsoever. No reliance on skill or judgement. Just good old fashioned math. Lets say I want 10 dmps capsules of 20mg each. I take 2 caps of 100mg add in 0.6mg x 10 of vitamin C (=6g). Put in an empty jar - mix it up. Then pour into capsule filler. End of story. . > > The pharmacist I asked (here in Europe), to prepare oral DMPS pills > for me says he does not prepare the oral version, but instead makes > the TD DMPS. Guest guest
If you are starting on 1mg per cap (which is an excessively small dosage if you ask me) you'll need to make 100 compounded caps from 1 100mg dmps cap. You use as much vitamin C (i.e. filler) as is needed to fill all the capsules to the top. An empty size 0 capsule (the big end) holds about 0.6g of powder, so multiply by the number of capsules you are filling and thats how much vitamin C to use. For example if you are filling 100 size 0 caps then you will need to use 60g of vitamin C. . > Thanks for the tip. Just one more question.
