Guest guest
Hello again to those who might remember me. I'm trying to buy a good quality paddling pool for a birthday present. I've had a thorough search online and can't find very much at all - most shops including the most famous toy shops respond negatively to a search for paddling pool and I've tried Water play and Get Wet and just end up in sex shops! Can anyone recommend a sturdy pool suitable from age 1 but which might last for a few years and doesn't take 2 hours to inflate. If it was a little bit more interesting than average, so much the better. Up to £30. I hope the coffee list is still dealing with all such enquiries. TIA. Have you tried Argos at www.argos.co.uk? good range there - all of them seem to say suitable from 3yrs but I think this may be standard recommended age for paddling pools? Two good ones: * Boubsy Shell Sand Pit with a lid that can be used as a pool - very sturdy and my 3yr old sits happily in it @13.99 (not inc. sand!). Cat no. 365/1449 * Quickflate Carousel Pool in half price sale @ 12.49, inflates in under 2 minutes with electric inflator/deflator @ 19.99. Cat no. 365/1951 Cat no. 366/5143 HTH Jenni (& Gethyn) *** 17yrs yesterday! *** Mari 3yrs (HB), Babi Bach exp.09/2001 > > I hope the coffee list is still dealing with all such enquiries. Guest guest
Hello again Fiona, We love such enquiries! I've got a great one from Tescos, it has solid sides/panels and an inflatable rim. So folds down easily and doesn't take forever to blow up. It cost £15. phine (Mum to 3.5 & Ben 2.5, Cambridge NCT) Can anyone recommend a sturdy pool suitable from age 1 but which might last for a few years and doesn't take 2 hours to inflate.
