Guest guest
Dear Granny et al. In my haste I implied I'd let my endo chart my course. Quite the contrary, I hope to keep a really informed hand in it. Elaine's book has been a godsend, not to mention all the good advice here. I'm lucky in that my endo seems to be a terrific dr--good listener, interest in my overall health, vigilant blood testing and asking me to call her if my symptoms change. Plus she seems to be knowledgeable about Graves. Hopefully by the time my blood levels start looking right, I'll have found the time to get educated about this. (Clearly doctors differ. Another nice woman MD in this practice had Graves herself and assured me that as soon as I got my thinking straight I would do what she did and have the " radioactive treatment " !) What would do without the Internet to let us share info etc. like this? Best wishes,
