Guest guest
Sounds like you're on the right track. I posted here yesterday an old message from Andy in which he explains why increasing the chelator dose tenfold will only result in a doubling of metals removed - while making the experience intolerable with horrendous side effects. So there's no reason to go any higher than you are absolutely comfortable with. Dean Review of Round 5 Just ended round 5. First 2 rounds were 25mg DMSA. Last 3 rounds were 12.5mg. I am pretty sure I need to go down to 6mg next time. Someone else here who weighs 180 pounds is surprised at the power of 12.5mg. I am only 125 pounds. 12.5mg feels pretty powerful to me. I wonder how I ever tolerated those first 2 rounds at 25mg. Round 4 was marvelous. Felt so good. This fifth round however was just aweful. The expected antidepressant effect never happened. Just felt lousy the whole time. Increased anxiety, increased agitation, increased blue moods. I do see remarkable things happen while on DMSA though. For example, I have had clusters of boils on my buttocks for years. They are semi- dormant, but painful, and sometimes flare up but never enough to ooze pus. DMSA shrinks them down magically. I also have intestinal gas, flatulence, a lot. DMSA pretty much makes that go away. All kinds of herbs, antiseptics, probiotics, enzymes, etc, have failed to treat either of these conditions. But DMSA does pretty good at it. Strange. When I stop a round, wow does the gas flare up, and wow do those boils strike back with a vengeance. 12.5mg is too much. Next round is 6mg. So far though I have been able to endure 6 day rounds.
