Seems like all the worry about her bowel sounds ( there was none ) worked itself out anytime you mess with the spine during surgery they go to sleep ( wish someone had told us this) They then have to be given a few days to awaken( the bowel sounds that is ) She is still having headaches , but not nearly as frequently , AND she read some today , for those of you who dont know , generally if you see her without a book in her hand she is sleeping But since her surgery she hadnt even TRIED to read due to the extreme headaches. She is still swollen around her face/neck area, But she is moving better, she got home from the hospital with full intention of taking a HOT shower, her body wanted rest first though , she slept for 3 hours.
