Guest guest
A dr. who won't let you switch ATDs sounds ignorant. When my dr. felt I was reacting badly to Tappazol she switched me to PTU and said that only 25% of those allergic to one would have trouble with the other (sounds like there's research to back that up). So good luck finding a better dr.
Guest guest
Same here. Could not tolerate PTU at ALL - extreme nausea 24/7. Was switched to Tapazole and have never had any side effects at all. Push the issue! Chris > A dr. who won't let you switch ATDs sounds ignorant. Guest guest
Ya this sounds aweful, I am lucky I can tolerate both of them but if you can't then I don't know what the big deal is with the Dr. they should just switch you its really not rocket science. Alyssa's 2 cents worth keep on pushing them
