My Mother's Day was great. All of the kids and grandkids were here. My daughter brought their Maltese puppy over to play with Gizmo. Poor Gizzy!! When they left, he was just exhausted. He fell asleep on the sofa and I picked his paw up and it just went limp, he was so out of it!! He had so much fun playing. They chased each other for about 2 hours back and forth from the front of the apartment to the back. He had a blast!! Was good to see everyone. I only wish Brent could have been here but I guess they wouldn't even give him a phone call from jail cuz I didn't hear anything from him. Maybe by next year he will be home again. I woke up yesterday and this morning with my back hurting so bad I could barely roll over in bed. It seems to get better once I get out of bed and move around but is so painful to try and get up.

It is raining and storming here AGAIN for the 15th day in a row. We have flood warnings and tornado warnings out this morning already. GEEZ!! I am so sick of rain!! I need SUNSHINE!!!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful week!! CaroOSTEOARTHRITIS 2002, COPD 02/06, IPF 08/07, UIP 01/08, RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS 03/08 SJOGREN SYNDROME 07/08 POLYMYOSITIS/DERMATOMYOSITIS 03/09 CANCER OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN 03/09Mississippi

I am fine Caro, far away from the fires and very safe. Thank you for thinking of me. I had a wonderful Mother's Day and now am very tired out but otherwise doing well. Hope your day was wonderful too. God bless you- R. (53) Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 Carlsbad, California

How are our members doing living near the fires in Santa Barbara? I remember Ken (I think) living in Lompoc and , aren't you in that somewhat general area?
