Guest guest
<< >> Eloisa used to do this and I was also at wits end.. Then one day in the car she did it whilst we where driving at a stage where I was very worried about how another driver was driving (pretty certain he would cause a accident) and I shouted SO LOUDLY at her to stop it immediately scared her senseless but she stopped after that in the car. (probably traumatised for life ;o) but at least she is now safe)... So I am sorry not got any advice but perhaps try one of those cupboard lock things (you know where you sort of have 2 loops) Lonnie Phoebe & Eloisa's mama & expecting a Christmas delivery... My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what you start. So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a Chocolate cake. I feel better already. I did the same shouting thing and it worked for us too, now if he does it I just say to him " Quick we are going, put you straps back on!!!!! " all excitedly and he does it. It has become a bit of a game. Good Luck, another alternative is to put them in a seat that uses the normal seat belt as DS stays put the who journey if he is in his brothers seat, which fastens like this. Obviously It depends on their age! Kirsten
