Guest guest
There is no colon cancer in my background that anyone is aware of. I wish my Dr had pushed the colonoscopy before I had symptoms. I did not have mine until I was 66 yrs old. My girls have had theirs done except my youngest at 36 her Dr says she is to young. I keep telling her he is a quack. My oldest is scared and has cancelled two appts. I tried looking into virtual colonoscopy and insurance would not pay and I was told none of the Doctors were using the equipment because insurance would not. I was shocked last night to find a large 1/4 page ad for our local hospital for Virtual colonoscopy. It did say in fine print to be sure your insurance would cover it. Well we only have two major insurance companies here. Mine had said they would not pay when I checked a few months back. My daughter has a different insurance so I hope they are the ones paying. Somebody is or that ad would not have been in there. Hil Re: Press release - Siegal's article in The Oncologist Yes, This story hits home to many of us here. Yes, if we only had been more aware of colon cancer in our background we could of been more aware and tested earlier. Ingrid
