Andy clearly recommends against using R-ALA. It is not a part of the

protocol used in this group (the frequent dose chelation group is for

people chelating with Andy's protocol).

TK started a file for posts from Andy on R-ALA (files section). Andy

has posted many more posts on this topic that can be found by

searching archives.

This is actually increasing quite fast. See TKs general

recommendations in the files section.

R Lipoic Acid is a fairly new product. It is one isomer of lipoic

acid. There is very little chelation experience with this product.

Andy has had some reports from people using it and the reports confirm

his initial stand that it should not be used for chelation.

The regular lipoic acid contains both isomers. It is the lipoic acid

used by all of the people who have chelated successfully and actually

got better.

On the bottle it says R+ is

Regular lipoic acid.

I don't recall him using those exact words but it makes sense that it

would chelate from the intestines. Lipoic acid takes mercury out in

the feces.

I can find anything in his book that

Hi :

Thanks for the advice about r+ALA vs. regular ALA. I hadn't seen that in

the book,. I am doing my best follow Andy's advice and did not realize

that there was a big difference between the two formulas. I go more by his

book as the ES prevents me from being on the computer for very long review

all the archivest. I will stiick the Kirkmans regular ala and I will keep

the dosage lower as recommended on my next rounds.
