I haven't paid much attention to this topic, 'cause I don't have tatoos, but it would be worth searching autism mercury archives for tatoo discussions. I think that they can be removed if in doubt. Guest guest
Tattoo inks contain a variety of metals ,its where the pigment comes from. Red inks often use cinnebar which is mercury. Reds and yellows if I remember right when I looked it up years back. Cobalt in blue, iron ore in black. I know a tattoo artist that is merc toxic. He has reported that his newest tattoo's the red was itching and blistered then healed up. this had not happend to him with any of his other tattoos or colors. You are probably sensitive to whatever is in the ink. It is almost impossible to find out because the FDA does not regulate inks, therefore the companies do not list the ingredients on the inks, and due to patents..don't have to disclose the ingredients. I was told to ask for organic inks, but hardly anyone uses those. I chose to not get anymore tattoos. > > > I awoke at normal time on Monday morning, after last dose at 2am, to > > a massively tingly & itchy right arm.
