Guest guest
-Thanks everyone. I did take the phenazopyridine. I was in too much pain not too. I will not take the macrobid because it seems to have too many drug interactions. I will call my endo in the morning. Cranberry juice has never helped me when I have gotten a bladder infection. I have had them off and on for years. I eat yogurt alot before any time I am taking antibiotics but this time with the Graves I did not. I am trying to stay off dairy as much as possible. Seems cheese affects me for some reason. For those, antibiotics won't work and cranberry juice is a good idea. To avoid the sugar in commercial stuff you can get cranberry caps in any vitamin dept.--I got my last bottle at the Rite Aid drug store. > > Good luck--you need to get it checked out to avoid a more serious infection to your kidneys, yet may well find it's not bacterial, just hurts like hell. > > > > >
Guest guest
Sandy, I would be leary of taking an antibiotic that is from Jan. of this year. Recently I had a UTI I can't take Macrobid (allergy) they give me Cipro and let me tell you I about fell over it cost $98.00 for 20 pills. I've never paid that before. Since tomorrow is Monday why not get a big bottle of cranberry juice and drink the whole thing. My sister that works in a doctors office told me to do that, but being I had the flu at the time I couldn't drink the cranberry juice. Vitamin C and garlic are good too. Debbie R. Guest guest
-Simon, I seem to feel bad after I eat cheese. Like the flu or something. I have just discovered this. For the person that wrote about eating the yogurt. I went ahead and ate some acidophilus pills I had in the fridge. Seemed to help me some so I haven't had to take the orange pill thing again for pain. Trying to stay off antibiotics if possible. Found it funny the doctor suggested antibiotics could of sent my liver panel test up a little. I can live with a rash, and fix my bladder with natural stuff I think. Don't know what to do about a liver except continue to drink lots of water to help flush everything. I am going to search the net for bladder and natural remedies.
