I also feel good when I eat eggs.--------Jackie Nell

If you can't eat dairy, there are lots of other sulfur foods: beans, peas, lentils, broccoli, turnips, garlic, greens, lots of other veggies. Dare I say coffee? If you tolerate it okay, you have a good excuse :-) --

I'll try some NAC; I'm already eating all the sulfur foods I can, but I'm starting to react to beans which is a serious tragedy. When I put n on SCD he did better for awhile and then progressively worse -- he started reacting to more and more foods until finally I took him off altogether and just stuck with Feingold and lots of enzymes. It feels like the same thing might be happening to me. One more question -- am I right that the mag sulfate in Epsom's is not related to sulfur foods? Thanks (and also thanks for looking at that hair test on a-m -- the mom was already doing or about to try what you suggested, so she felt happy to be on the right track.) I think my son's was, after over three years of enzymes. At least he stopped reacting to foods as well as I could see, I didn't know about good GI testing then. But I'm wondering how much gut health I can hope for when I'm dragging metals through the gut so many days a month? Nell

I have similar questions in my mind too, Nell. I went sugar free, low carb, and no alcohol (okay, 2 glasses of wine) and almost no cheese to beat back that fungal infection I had. Now I'm wondering what it will take to maintain? Will it get worse again when I start doing more rounds? How much sugar, carbs, and alcohol is okay and how much is too much? Good luck,
