Guest guest
Joni, Yes, your test doesn't look normal, although doesn't meet the counting rules. A trial of chelation makes sense to me. You need to remove amalgams first - 4 days after removal you can start chelating. You may be able to get more improvement in your symptoms if you can find the right supplements. Check your current supplementation against Andy's recommendations in Amalgam Illness. Lithium is good for both lyme and mercury, so I would definitely try it. 5 mg lithium orotate is a good dose to start. Many of us have adrenal and thyroid problems. Anxiety and chronic lyme infection say to me that you need adrenal support, at least. -- > > Hello > > I finally did the DDI test after being really ill for over a year. Guest guest
It is important to realize thta no test is a perfect measurement of what is going on inside a person, and that any diet or vitamin intervention you are using tends to make the test look more normal. If you look on page 26 of the hair test book www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html you'll see this test scores as " unusual. " Not normal, not definitively abnormal. Might mean something, might not. Also the low toxics are pretty unusual in a normal test. There should be SOME level of them. You could argue the test either way, but given what you describe as symptoms a mercury problem seems reasonably likely.
