Ingrid...thanks, but I think in a way I'm being kind of self-centered. This

memory may only be for me. But the party is for Glenn, to celebrate his

accomplishments and remember great, fun things that have happened in his life.

With an old childhood friend, old co-workers that he's kept in touch with,

current co-workers, 3 of his drs. (Onc., GI and Surgeon) and the nurses that do

his fluid draining procedure each week, a couple of old friends from his

Coast Guard years in the 70's, and of course, my family, it should be quite a

bit of fun for him!! He's excited about it...gives us something to think

about besides the impending surgery and the dreaded Cancer!!!

Donelle, just an idea, if you have a scanner you should try to scan and print

pics of Glen from baby pics to now and post them all over the room. It will

stir up old memories and surely make everyone laugh and talk. Have a great
