In AI, Andy just says " not at the same time " , so I assume he means not the same meal or pill swallowing seminar (that' what it feels like, right?).---------Jackie I also have some sulphaforaphane (not sure I spelled that right). Would that also be appropriate to raise sulphate? It's an cruciferous vegetable extract from broccoli sprouts. ----------I have no idea. I just know Andy has said that sulfate needs to go in as sulfate, and eating sulfury foods isn't the way to increase sulfate, so maybe this wouldn't either. Just guessing. But, on page 110 of AI, he does say, " Cruciferous vegetables increase many phase 2 rates and can be used if sulfur food exclusion is not required. " So as long as you don't have to eliminate sulfur foods, this would probably be good for something.-----------Jackie I also presume molybdenum is good? ------------Yes. On page 111 of AI, Andy says, " Molybdenum supplementation may help the body make more endogenous sulfate. " And in post #57707 from A-M that I gave the link to before, he says that especially in cases where cysteine levels are higher than sulfate, that molybdenum supplementation is important. I've been taking 1,000mcg a day for a long time.----------Jackie Mark > > Jackie, I am cysteine 0.66 ref range for normal is 0.61 to 1.16, and > sulphate is 2.7 ref range for normal is 3.0 to 5.9. > What I want to know is exactly what sulfation does and why it is so > important in comparison to the other three phase 2 actions: > glutathione & glycine conjugation and glucuronidation? > Mark > --------rest of old message deleted
