He said that from my baseline CBC my white blood cells were already

low (that's WBC, right? it says here 5.1 and range is 4.3 - 10.0).

That he sees no need for another.

He didn't order liver panel, either. Nor did Stupendo of the no

return calls. I specifically asked, I swear.

I left in tears, over reacting, as usual. My sweet husband wants to

get me a spa treatment to undo all this stess.

He ordered another lab, FreeT4 and TSH but no Free T3...I may pencil

it in under " other tests " .

You bet your a#% I'm going to keep taking it. I want to wait it out,

like you said, maybe lower after next week's lab. I have 2 months

worth of refills remaining. They can't revoke that if they don't

know where it is.

You're all my Hyper Angels. LOL.

I am so sorry you have found another Stupidendo that only sees $$$$ . That

RAI is a real money maker you know. And if he does not know enough about

thyroid to treat your throat gently, does not know that if you already had

Graves' white blood count issues, and refuses to check them now after a

month of Tap...well...he does not know enough to monitor patients on ATDs

and thus believes himself that they are dangerous and don't work, because he

has never seen them work .

I don't blame you for overreacting. He set off a bunch of extra thyroid

hormone and that will do it alone, without the added stress of being new and

trying to find a doctor that has some experience.

I have had a doctor do that to my neck, and THEN take blood pressure and

labs. Guess what, just like that everything goes up.

Granny helped me on that one. You can imagine how she told me to STOP

them from roughing me up. :-) Now I am just waiting for some poor slob to

try anything. I'm ready. Make my day !

Did the hives go away once you lowered the Tap and figured out is SUPPOSED

to be taken 3 times a day ? I think that is where we last left of, and you

are only itching now. Right ?

With labs in one week, your refills, and a possible lower dose in a week,

you should have time to find a nice plain old GP that won't have those big

$$$ in his eyes. Kinda crumby that this guy gets to cash even this one check

huh ?

Remember, you may feel a bit hyper for a couple days now, after the roughing

up, so roll with it, and don't think you are back sliding. At least that was

my experience. I hope some of the day people can confirm this. I hate to be

the only one that has had this happen.

Thought about you and your nervous-peeing wiener dog tonight as I set out on

my trek. LOL :-) The shop said the top guy was still scratching his head

over what the problem might be. I DID say " are you sure THAT is what he is

scratching " ...tee hee

Guess the van takes after me. At least the mechanics are honest enough to

say they don't know ! And my guy at the counter DOES remember my last

statement from when I was leaving when they said it WAS fixed. I told them

dead customers don't complain, but if this van kills me I promise I will

come back and haunt you ! Funny...they seem to be taking the whole thing a

little more serious this time. :-)

BTW...I am impressed with how you were able to speak to this jerk today. You

listed GOOD reasons in a short time. So there !

Take hubby up on the spa thing. Cool ! Just don't let them massage your

neck. LOL
