Guest guest
Eileen So glad you had the chance. It's an experience one can't truly describe. I use this as a reminder to anyone else that while this is an annual event, you can always have a local or regional get together with a couple of you, or several. This sure isn't our way of choice to make friends, but those you make here and by meeting sure can be special. I've had the privilege of meeting many board members but given a chance I'd try to meet you all. So, again...don't wait for the annual events to meet those within driving distance. > > What a wonderful experience. This was my first time meeting anyone from our Air Family and I cannot tell you how much it meant to me. My husband and I both enoyed meeting Leigh, Beth, Peggy, Sandy, Jane, Steve, Bob, Sharon, and all their caregivers. I know I have left out someone, forgive me if I did. I feel so much better having met even of small part of the Air Family and I do feel like part of the family now. I only wish everyone from our Air Family could have come. I will take you up on the help and advice for applying for SS. God bless each and every one of you. > > Eileen IPF/UIP May 07 >
Guest guest
Eileen, I'll be glad to help you. I look forward to talking with you more. I'll email you with extra contact info. I couldn't agree with you more. This weekend was amazing! Hubby and I learned quite a bit. The most valuable thing we got from this trip was the opportunity to meet our new friends. I'm so thankful to have had this experience. 33 FL IPF dx 1/06 > > What a wonderful experience. Guest guest
I'm GREEN with ENVY......at least that's in keeping with today for an Irish hearted girl (albeit with Scots/Flemish/Viking/Anglo/ Saxon undertones....) I KNOW I've kissed the Blarney Stone......my Mum was forever lamenting my Irish -ness when I was a kid.. it caused HER no end of grief she said! She thought she was 'PURE' English BUT .......I've found out her grandfather & family was from Cork ... I lament that I can't tell her that....I even reckon it was those genes that was responsible for her delightful whimsy (when she was off-guard & allowed it to shine through!) I still miss my Mum! Anyways back to Orlando... I'll enjoy soaking up the piccies & imagining I was there.....you LUCKY ducks.. you sure found one of those POTS of Gold ! lotsa in Oz >> What a wonderful experience.
