Cost of DMPS has more than tripled!!!!

I just got off the phone with Falls Pharmacy to reorder DMPS, which I haven't

done in a long time, and she told me that their cost for getting it has

increased 3-1/2 times!!!! I asked when this happened, and she said in December.

She said they couldn't even get it for awhile. For some reason the main

producer of it, Heyl in Germany, quit making it, and now there's a shortage and

the price more than tripled. Ouch. Has anyone else ran into this yet? Or does

anyone in the US get it from a different compounding pharmacy? Falls is the one

uses, so that's why I have gotten it there.

So, you people who do fine on ALA alone, consider yourself very lucky!
