It has been 6 weeks since I stopped erbitux and you can still see the spots

although they

have faded some. Erbitux did clear up the mets in my liver while I was on

it. Now that I am off it I have the beginnings of one spot in my liver

again. Good Luck. Both Mike and Phil are in my prayers.

I was sorry to hear that one spot has reappeared on the liver.

Have the docs given you a chemo break and what will the next treatment be?

As Erbitux was so sucessful can you not have it continually or are there too

many side

effects?

I can not continue with the erbitux because I received it through a

research program. Erbitux is only approved otherwise for people who

are EGFR positive and I am negative. The research program was open to

both groups. My results did show them that erbitux can also help

people who are EGFR negative. I am starting avastin and irinotecan on

Tuesday. I really did not feel the erbitux side effects were that bad

other then the rash which I could live with.
