Guest guest
It has been 6 weeks since I stopped erbitux and you can still see the spots although they have faded some. Erbitux did clear up the mets in my liver while I was on it. Now that I am off it I have the beginnings of one spot in my liver again. Good Luck. Both Mike and Phil are in my prayers. Jane I was sorry to hear that one spot has reappeared on the liver. Have the docs given you a chemo break and what will the next treatment be? As Erbitux was so sucessful can you not have it continually or are there too many side effects? in Spain
Guest guest
I can not continue with the erbitux because I received it through a research program. Erbitux is only approved otherwise for people who are EGFR positive and I am negative. The research program was open to both groups. My results did show them that erbitux can also help people who are EGFR negative. I am starting avastin and irinotecan on Tuesday. I really did not feel the erbitux side effects were that bad other then the rash which I could live with.
