Here's a link to the hair elements test results on my dd, for all of

you willing to take a look. I realize that some of you actually prefer

to view it this way, as it's easier to read. Test number 156.

--------Your daughter's hair test meets a counting rule by having 6 bars in

the red (4 or more in the red is a rule), which means she has a high probability

of mercury poisoning causing this. So chelation would be a good idea.

She shows the classic adrenal pattern of having Cal & Mag going up together

and Sodium & Pot. going down together. This is probably the source, or at least

contributing to her anxiety and other emotional symptoms. Treating her adrenals

should help. My understanding is that HC is never appropriate for children, but

ACE and licorice and Vit C and B's should help. You will probably want to check

with the A-M group for details for children.

Even with zinc red high, Andy says when mineral transport is deranged, you

still need to supplement zinc, regardless. (HTI pages 260-261) In mercury

toxicity, absorption of zinc is severely impaired and very high amounts are

needed. For children, the amount to use is weight in pounds + 20 = number of mg

to start with, in divided doses.

I think you already asked about supplementing lithium in another post, which

is appropriate in this case, when it is low red, and may help with some of her

emotional symptoms.

A majority of her essential elements go to the left, or the low side, which we

refer to as an all low profile, so she may benefit from some digestive aids for

better absorption of nutrients.

The first thing I would work on is her adrenal issues, which might help alot,

and getting a supplement program in place, and then consider chelation.

And I don't know what her activities are, but believe me, the older they get,

the harder it is to fit something like chelation into their schedule, so I would

encourage you to do it now. I have 13yo twins I would like to chelate, and it's

very hard with their activities, and it's only going to get worse, not better!

Good luck------Jackie

Thanks,

S
