Again small world I had a Blue SR5 from the base credit union. I did not like Kansas at all so I finally went to CBPO office and told them I would go anywhere in the world just get me out of Kansas!!! about three weeks later I got Orders to Okinawa Japan, bought a 1976 Yellow VEGA wagon and drove to Oregon for leave, I spent the next three Years overseas and loved it got to travel all over the far east, Last base was Norton air base in San Bernardino CA and that was enough for me. I bought a house in san felipe last year and if this dumb lung disease would slow down I am going to move there as soon as my son graduates in about two years so I wont be that far from Phoenix. Mr. Walt, I think my E2 husband and I rented that same trailer at Rantoul AB in Illinois, but I could have sworn we got $286. Oh wait that was after he made E3 and we ended up at Warner Robbins in Ga, oh I remember those days. Our first new car was a Toyota SR5 for 3200 and the credit union would only loan us 2800.
