Guest guest
<<> Have your DH's name engraved next to wedding date and your name on his.>> This is common practice in Denmark and I always felt slightly weird about the fact that ours don't have the name/date engraved. Also in Denmark you don't use a engagement ring and a wedding band. What happens is that when you get engaged you get what we here would look upon as a wedding band then have it engraved with name and date and then wear it on your left hand, then when you marry you have it engraved with the date of the marriage and then wear it on your right hand.. My girl friends in Denmark think it is very weird that I wear my bands English style but they both love the idea of a " proper " engagement ring (needless to say I plumped for the English version as you get 2 rings that way LOL) Lonnie Phoebe & Eloisa's mama & expecting a Christmas delivery... My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what you start. So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a Chocolate cake. I feel better already. That's a good idea, may well have our initials put inside my ring, bit difficult to put my name on his tho - he doesn't have one !
