Guest guest
Hi Jackie, Thanks for the input. I will check previous posts. You asked how I was doing otherwise. I had to stop chelating (Cutler style) in August when I developed severe contact dermatitis, probably poison ivy. It went systemic, had to triple HC dose, then became completely intolerant to HC and had to stop the steroids cold turkey. It is a lot more complicated than that, but that's the nutshell version. I've been off line for months because just too ill and am now attempting to find something to help absorb the toxins, as well as thallium, in my gut. The " poison ivy " has thrown many of my body systems into hyper mode and the most innocuous thing I can think of to get back on track is an adsorbing agent which I am supposed to be taking anyway because of the thallium. Then I will try some digestive enzymes, but previous experience with these tells me I need something to absorb the toxins released by the enzymes or I will just be more toxic. My MCS is more severe now than it's been in a while. I am just trying to get back on track, so that I can get back to chelation. Tried ALA at 6mg, but so toxic right now that it was a disaster. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks, Gladioli > > I need some type of adsorbing or absorbing agent to use for my current > gut issues and do not tolerate activated charcoal. I have never used it, so I can't make any recommendations. My understanding also is that it only absorbs things in the gut, so stays in the GI tract, and is not considered a chelator at all. But I have arsenic besides mercury, and had only been using DMSA for a long time. I did switch to DMPS, but haven't been able to chelate very often for different reasons also. I believe I've read the same stuff about bentonite and zeolite, that they stay in the gut, so are not true chelators, but that people have had benefits from them and that Andy doesn't think they are harmful, just that they won't chelate. I believe that's been the just of the discussions on them. But like I said, no personal experience with them to report to you. Good luck!-------Jackie Thanks, Gladioli > > I need some type of adsorbing or absorbing agent to use for my current > gut issues and do not tolerate activated charcoal.
