I must have missed some messages. Where do we send photos? Best of luck

on what sounds like a great party.

Just a quick note...

Glenn received a phone call this morning from the hospital reminding him of

his " surgery scheduled for tomorrow " ... Glenn told her, " Well, I hope you

can

do it without me being there " .....LOL It was scheduled and we were never

told... LOL

We didn't even know the shunt was available, yet. Darn drs!!!

Any way, he called the drs. and told them that Dr. B would have to perform

the surgery without him, b/c he has a PARTY scheduled for him on August 21

and

he's not doing nuttin' til after that!!! LOL They rescheduled it for

Monday, August 29th.

So now I have something else to worry about...it's actually scheduled!!!

Plans are moving ahead quite well with the Hawaiian themed " Celebration of

Life " for Glenn...wish you ALL could be there....everyone of you!!! We

have

decorations in the works, hawaiian clothing in the works, food in the

works...big boombox in the works (turns out we can't have amplified music

at this

park, so no DJ, which is a bummer for me!!), posterboard of all our

friends

here in this group (tapping foot.. waiting to receive those photos....want

him

to KNOW how many people are praying for him) in the works, the only thing

that's for sure is the reservation for the park...LOL

Something really cool happened today. The supplier where I get the Cancer

Gifts for my webstore has offered to send me 100 wrist bracelets, so we can

give each one of our guests one...how appropriate is that!!! I was going

to

order them and sent her an email updating her on Glenn, etc. And they

offered

to send them free!! Angels are everywhere, aren't they!!! So now I can

spend that $200 bucks on something else!!! Wha Hoo!!!

Golly I will get my photo in by next week, in plenty time before the big

day. I can email it direct to you, NOT through the support group...

I am trying to think of something cute to do... Want to wait until next

week as I will have money then, and want to buy a pack of leis at

Walmart (hope they have them in party aisle), if not will have to string

my own or something, LOL... Oh should have a beach comber hat too.

Wonder how the surgery tomorrow without the patient is going to turn

out? Wonder if it will be a success?? At least they will be

practicing for the real thing.LOL It is really a wonder that they

were only givng Glenn one days notice of his surgery. Just like the

doctors I guess.

The party sounds like it is moving right along. Sound like it is

going to be so much fun. I just know Glenn is going to enjoy it. You

are a wonderful wife to make all these plans for the one you love and

care about so much!! I wish so much I could attend. But cannot. My

heart and soul will be there.

Yes, there are angels everywhere. It is wonderful that they donated

the bracelet. Yes, reminds us that there are still a lot of caring
