Glenn's surgery...and...angels are everywhere!!!

Just a quick note...

Glenn received a phone call this morning from the hospital reminding him of

his " surgery scheduled for tomorrow " ... Glenn told her, " Well, I hope you can

do it without me being there " .....LOL It was scheduled and we were never

told... LOL

We didn't even know the shunt was available, yet. Darn drs!!!

Any way, he called the drs. and told them that Dr. B would have to perform

the surgery without him, b/c he has a PARTY scheduled for him on August 21 and

he's not doing nuttin' til after that!!! LOL They rescheduled it for

Monday, August 29th.

So now I have something else to worry about...it's actually scheduled!!!

Plans are moving ahead quite well with the Hawaiian themed " Celebration of

Life " for Glenn...wish you ALL could be there....everyone of you!!! We have

decorations in the works, hawaiian clothing in the works, food in the

works...big boombox in the works (turns out we can't have amplified music at

this

park, so no DJ, which is a bummer for me!!), posterboard of all our friends

here in this group (tapping foot.. waiting to receive those photos....want him

to KNOW how many people are praying for him) in the works, the only thing

that's for sure is the reservation for the park...LOL

Something really cool happened today. The supplier where I get the Cancer

Gifts for my webstore has offered to send me 100 wrist bracelets, so we can

give each one of our guests one...how appropriate is that!!! I was going to

order them and sent her an email updating her on Glenn, etc. And they offered

to send them free!! Angels are everywhere, aren't they!!! So now I can

spend that $200 bucks on something else!!! Wha Hoo!!!
