Guest guest
-Hello , Will either of these things interfere with the PTU(2 pills a day) and my Inderal(1 a day)or would you know? I am afraid to take anything with my ATD. I am now taking pure Cranberry pills for the bladder and acidophilus pills from fridge trying to get on top of the problem. So far I have not taken the macrobid. The nurse never called me back yesterday or today so have no choice to act like a big girl doctor to myself. My blood tests were all okay last Tuesday when I went to the doctor(tests done previous Thursday)I was taking Omnicef 300mg.twice a day(which i only took for about 3 days) and the endo thought this could be showing my liver starting to go a little weird. Stopped immediately. I was taking the Omnicef from a dermatologist to kill a staph infection that she wasn't real sure I had anyway after taking 2 cultures. She and the pharmacist said it would be okay with the PTU. Gave me a bladder infection pronto. Kinda shows you the effect of antibiotics on your body huh! These antibiotics are necessary but way overused to me. Pretty amazing I am getting my PTU reduced so quickly with all this going on isn't it. The power of prayer and eating good and staying off iodine to me. I approach it all with my gut. To me less is more. Trying my best to stay on top of the bladder infection.
