Guest guest Posted August 4, 2005 Report Share Posted August 4, 2005 These are things that hospice can help you with. She will be medicated to be comfortable and will not suffer. If this is your mom's decision then go with it and make it as relaxing and pleasant as possible. Talk about old times, get out the old photos and take a walk down memory lane. The good times.. You will be fine, but this will be alot easier on you than trying to fight the inevitability of it all. It hurts to lose a parent but think of her not suffering anymore and being with who she wants to be with ---your dad. I think once you come to terms with this you will find yourself at peace as well...
