I have completed 12 rounds of ALA/DMSA so far.

Unfortunately not all rounds were 'perfect':

1. I had to stop one round after 1 day because i missed a dose.

2. There were 2 rounds were i took a dose after 4 hours 20 minutes

once instead of 3 hours.

What do you think? Is that ok or am i making too many mistakes?

I agree we all make mistakes and have probably had to end rounds early for one

reason or another. So don't be too hard on yourself. I just want you guys to

be clear that a 5 hour cutoff is only if you are dosing every 4 hours. If you

are dosing every 3 hours, then the cutoff if 4 hours. One hour past whatever

your dosing schedule is. If you dose every 3 hours, and then miss by 5 hours,

that is 2 hours past, and is probably too much. But again, we are all

different, but in general, I would stick with the 1 hour rule.

That's not bad really. None of us has all perfect rounds. 4 hrs and 20

minutes is still within the 5 hour cut off. And it only happend one

time on two separate rounds. These things happen...as long as we don't

do it every round or all the time I think it's ok.
