Guest guest
Good afternoon to all, I am new to the group. I would really appreciate your help. I had an allergic reaction to DMSA, can I use just ALA if I have hypothyroidism? If so, do I have to use DMPS first? I am using Armour Thyroid, 50 mg. As far as chelation is concerned, I will be using Dr. Cutler's Protocol. Thank you so much for your help, I am so very appreciative of your time. I wish you all a very nice evening. People often 'react' to chelation because the dose of chelator is too high and too many metals are moved all at once. can I use just ALA if I have > hypothyroidism? Yes > If so, do I have to use DMPS first? Not necessarily. ALA is what Andy refers to as the 'workhorse' chelator. People often find that DMSA and DMPS help to suppress symptoms while chelating with ALA. I am using Armour > Thyroid, 50 mg.
