Finally talked to Dr

Well the gastronologist just called. In one way I feel better and in another I

don't know:) I will see him Monday afternoon and he will probably do the

procedure Tuesday if he can do it. At least I know what they are planning to try

to do. As usual they have to tell you everything that can go wrong and how you

may end up in surgery. Really what I wanted to hear. At least I found they are

not going down my throat to get to the rectum:) That part I have really been

trying to figure out. They are going or try to go up the recturm and do a

balloon stretch first so they can get in my colon to see it and biopsy. Problem

is I can not handle a laxative so he has just put me on a liquid diet. One day

liquid is bad enough but 5 days is going to be tough. I do need to lose the

weight but I have a fondness for food and just sit here and think what I can eat

next. Now I think of it I forgot to tell him I am diabetic so will have to watch

that. Have a call in to my regular Dr about that. I also needed syringes for my

insulin and found they can't call them in to pharmacy. I have to go to his

office to pick them up which is 45 minutes away. I don't drive and tired of

having my kids take off work to run me around. My prescription calls for a box

of 100 at a time. Crazy thing is I can go to drugstore and buy 10 at a time

without a prescription and yet they can't call them in.

I was up all night with the pains and sitting in the reading room. I spend so

much time in there we need to get Air Conditioner put in:) I don't have the

problem that Ingrid and have. My problem is there is such a narrowing I

can't get it out but a tiny bit at a time so makes it many trips a day trying.
