I went into labour early hours of the morning so G just phoned in at 9am and

told them he wasn't going to be in for a while! He didn't leave my side all

thru my labour - except when he had to go to the loo :) I was transferred

to hospital following Mari's birth at home and he stayed with me in the

hospital, we refused to be separated and he stayed overnight sleeping across

two chairs and trying to help me with a very unsettled baby whilst I was

still very ill myself.

He then stayed home for the next 2 wks and will do again this time. He did

make the occasional phone call to work but nothing that bothered me and only

went out one night when my family 'dragged him out' to wet the baby's head!!

Jenni

(& Gethyn) nearly 17yrs, Mari 3yrs (HB), Babi Bach exp.09/2001

p.s. on the thread regarding telling all to DHs' I did tell G earlier that I

had told you all he was my Mr Wonderful :) he said he was glad that I

appreciated him!!
